The 13th Judicial District Court chose to deploy the DiVitas Mobile UC solution because of its ability to keep employees continuously connected no matter where they are located. Now court employees can be contacted via their deskphone number whether they are in the office or out in the field – on cellular or WiFi networks, while simultaneously reducing costs and therefore saving tax payer dollars.
“We have been placing more and more people out in the field and providing them with regular cell phones – sometimes they have service, sometimes they don’t, so communication was irregular,” said Greg Ireland, Chief Executive Officer for the 13th Judicial District Court. “Meanwhile, the desktop phones we provide each of these employees for use while in the office cost $800-900 per unit – it’s crazy to keep buying them at that price when they don’t address our need for reachability.”

Currently the DiVitas solution is already delivering improvements beyond just monetary value. In particular, the number of "reopened" cases has dropped from 40 percent to 8 percent since the system was implemented due to accessibility of timely and accurate information.
