DiVitas Networks Mobile UC Solution Now Certified With Avaya Aura

Company Continues its Strong Commitment to Provide Avaya Customers with Most Current Combined Product Offering

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIF., July 20, 2009 – DiVitas Networks™, the leader in Mobile Unified Communications (Mobile UC), today announced that its Mobile UC solution is now Avaya Aura™ compliant.  DiVitas is the first Mobile UC/FMC product to be compliant tested with Avaya Aura Communications Manager 5.2 and Avaya Aura Session Manager 1.1. 

Offering a unified communications architecture, Avaya Aura simplifies complex networks, reduces infrastructure costs, and connects employees at any location. It efficiently delivers voice, video, unified messaging, presence, web applications, mobile clients, and multimedia conferencing.

The DiVitas Mobile UC solution extends the deskphone by duplicating its functionality on a smartphone.  The DiVitas Client supports a full range of business communication applications including voicemail, contacts, IM, Presence and personal status.  Unifying voice with business social networking onto a mobile phone greatly improves the probability of reaching individuals on the first attempt.  DiVitas enables true Dual Persona by offering a business number that is completely separate from the personal cellular number which comes native with the phone. 

By working with Avaya, DiVitas delivers valuable Mobile UC capabilities to the popular Avaya Aura™ product family. The DiVitas Mobile UC solution communicates with Avaya Aura™ Communications Manager and Avaya Aura Session Manager.  .  Once integrated with Session Manager, Avaya Communications Manager’s capabilities and deskphone features are extended to the DiVitas mobile client, offering seamless telephony access capability beyond the office over any mobile network - cellular, WiFi or both.

As a Platinum member of the program, DiVitas is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J.  There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant.  Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
